When a product is mentioned during a recommendation or comparison, it will now be visually highlighted on both the chat screen and avatar screen. This enhancement improves visibility and makes it easier for users to engage with featured items.

Conversation Filters & UI Enhancements

This update introduces new tools and interface improvements to streamline how conversations are reviewed and analyzed within the business portal.

  • Filter by Type – Easily toggle between Test and Non-Test conversations
  • Filter by Rating – Sort conversations based on shopper ratings (1–5 stars)
  •  Message Count Display – See how many messages the shopper sent (list + conversation header)

Default Interaction Mode Configuration

Business admins can now configure AVA’s Default Interaction Mode in the CMS, allowing them to choose whether AVA appears in Text-First or Voice-First mode. This setting determines the initial input option shoppers see, giving them the flexibility to start their interaction via text or audio. Admins can easily update this preference in the CMS for a tailored customer experience.

Refined Sigma Dashboard Data - Conversations that occur within the Business Portal will no longer be tracked or counted in the Sigma Dashboard metrics. While these test conversations are excluded from analytics, they will still appear in the conversation history log inside the Business Portal for reference.

Starter Question Update

  • The "Starter Question" option has been removed from the three-dot menu.

  • This feature has been consolidated into Add to Site > FAQ for improved accessibility.

    Base Prompt for all newly created AVA  

    All newly created AVAs will now have a base prompt focusing on pre-sales personality, making them more engaging.

    • Ava will proactively inquire more questions and most of the time will end the conversation with a follow up question to keep the chatter engaged.
    • Limitation : This largely depends on if we can grab the store’s collection or categories in order to the proactive inquiry about which area of product chatter is more interesting.

External Interaction tracking for Ava

The fw-ava web component provides a set of external tracking events that businesses can leverage to build their own tracking mechanisms. These events cover various interactions within the ava widget, allowing businesses to monitor and analyze user engagement.

  • The microphone permission request at startup has been removed.

  • Shoppers will only be prompted when they attempt to engage with audio.

  • Introducing AVA – Meet George!

    • Official launch of AVA’s latest enhancement, George.

  • Returning Greeting– Now, if a shopper interacts with AVA within the same browsing session more than once within 24-hour, they’ll receive a friendly returning greeting instead of the standard first-time greeting.
       Example: "Hi again! Is there anything else I can help you with?"

  1. Added activation rate (users who sent at least 1 message/ user who has an impression of seeing AVA widget, interacted with it or not)
