Remind Me

Learn about using remind me to effectively send a reminder for your audience to attend!

Prior to any Livestream Event, businesses were expected to notify users when an upcoming livestream was to occur. We simplified this process by creating Remind Me which allows your viewers the option to opt into an automatic email cadence notifying them of your event!

The Remind Me feature will combine the RSVP and add-to-calendar options we have today with an additional lead capture functionality. By opting into Remind Me, we will collect user emails which you also benefit from seeing who has saved the event. 

How it works:

  1. Upon starting a new Livestream Event, select the video overlays button.
  2. Click on CTA Button then select “Use Automated reminder flow”. Enter in your privacy policy URL. Then select confirm.adding remind me

After completing the setup, you will see the Remind Me option displayed wherever you embed the Livestream Event.

As a website viewer:

  1. Click into the Remind me option in either the Storyblock or Hero Unit layout view. 
  2. You will be prompted to enter in your Email. remind me asking for email HC
  3. Once your email is entered, a confirmation will display and an initial email will be sent to the one entered confirming the request for a reminder of the event. email confirmed Remind me HC

What is the Email Cadence Flow?

First Email ~ Upon submitting the email, a confirmation email from “donotreply@fireworkhq.com “ will appear. 

Second Email ~ 24 hours prior to the Livestream Event, you will see:

  • Upcoming event with the link to join
  • Add to calendar
  • Unsubscribe link
Third Email ~ 1 hour prior to the Livestream Event, you will see:
  • Upcoming event with the link to join
  • Add to calendar
  • Unsubscribe link
