Go Live with Multiple Hosts (Beta)

This article will demonstrate how to go live with multiple hosts.

 

Note: This feature is currently in Beta. If you're interested in using multiple hosts, please reach our to your Customer Success Manager.

Set-up the livestream and invite your co-hosts

1. After creating your Livestream Event, you will have the option to + Invite Co-hosts.

2. Enter the emails of your Co-hosts/Guest Speakers and select Send.

A co-host is a user who has access to the Business Portal and goes Live from the Camera App. This user will have access to all the functionality in the Camera App.
A Guest Speaker is a user who does not have access to the business portal and goes live streaming from the web. 

3. An email is sent out to all Co-Hosts and Guest Speakers with the details of the event. They’ll also receive an email reminder 30 minutes before the event. 

Go live and pull in co-hosts/Guest Speakers.

4. Each co-host can choose to “Go Live Now” from the email invite or from the Camera App which puts them in a “ready” status in the business portal. A Guest Speaker can go live directly from the email they receive.

5. After you are live, the Moderator can go into Assistant Mode in the Business Portal, navigate to the Audience tab, and select the three dots to pull your Co-hosts/Guest Speakers into the livestream at any time. You have the option to Bring on Air or Remove from Backstage. After you are live, you have the option to Remove them from the Stream or Remove and Ban them from the stream.
