      Leverage Firework Videos in Shop App

      Learn how to send Firework Short Videos to your Shop App!

      •  In order to leverage the Shop App, you must connect your Shopify account to the Business Portal.
      • To enable Shop Mini, you need to adjust permissions directly on the Shopify site, as they are not enabled by default.
      • Ensure your store meets the necessary criteria for displaying in Shop by reviewing the detailed guidelines provided  here

        Ensure you've downloaded the Firework App in Shopify and connected your store. 

        Set Up Shop Mini on Shopify

        • From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.
           
        •  In the Apps and sales channels section, locate the Shop app and click on the        Open sales channel option.   
        •  Complete the steps to activate the Shop sale channel.         
        • Choose the 'Minis' option, then click on 'Firework manage' under the Shop Minis section, this will redirect you to the Business Portal.

        Navigate to the Shop App Integration

        • Navigate to the Your Site tab at the top, then select the Shop App option from the left side panel.

        Publish Videos to the Shop App Home Page

        1. Now within the Business Portal, create a playlist. Ensure your playlist videos are supporting a product interaction which will be passed over to Shopify, Click on +Add to add products to your video .
        2. This will open the Video detail page, click Tag products under Interaction to add products, then click Save & close.
        3. Return to the Shop App Integration section and select the playlist you created earlier. To synchronize your videos with Shopify, click the Sync to Shop App button. If you wish to remove all videos from the Shop App home feed, you can select the Remove from Shop App option.



        4. When merchants upload a video to the Shop App home feed, both the video and its related products have the chance to be showcased as popular content, reaching a wider audience on the Shop App's home screen.

        Publish Videos to the Brand Page

        1. Follow the same steps to create a playlist and add products as you did for the Home page.
        2. Now select a playlist on Shop App Integration Page under Brand page playlist and click on Sync to Shop App. Wait until the Lived label appears.
        3. The videos will be displayed on the merchant's brand page within the Shop App.

                                                                           

        Publish Videos to the Product page 

        1. Click on the Products Tab to manage all the products within the video. You can also add videos for each product.
        2. Return to the Shop App Integration section and click on the Sync to Shop App button to publish all products linked to your videos to Shopify. Wait until the lived label appears.
        3. The videos will be displayed on the merchant's product detail page within the Shop App, enhancing product visibility and engagement.

                                             

        Helpful tips to remember:

        • Carousal Layout is the only playlist layout supported.
        • Only a maximum of 10 Product Interactions are acceptable on a single video.
        • Product interactions only. Shop App does not support Polls, Buttons, or Question interactions.
        • Choose from only 1 Shopify store. The Shop App does not support products from multiple stores.
        • The Shop app displays only six videos in the store and product detail page  carousels, but merchants can add more to the playlist; when a customer clicks a video, it opens a full-screen player, allowing the app to fetch additional videos from the playlist.
        • Shop App does not support Livestreams or Showrooms.
